It looks like Steve Bannon has finally killed Trump’s hypothetical pivot once and for all. Today in Ohio, Trump repeated his consistently bigoted, extremist immigration plan he outlined last night. Trump claims he is the voice of working Americans—but in reality he is a false prophet who has only given voice to the extreme and hateful fringe. It was particularly rich to hear the Donald rail against corruption. Just today, The Wall Street Journal reported that Trump did business with figures linked to organized crime. Taken together, Trump’s shady business record and divisive immigration proposal would severely damage our country’s economy and compromise our nation’s founding principles.
