Tonight, Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson said that Hillary Clinton “hatched her cover-up story and repeatedly lied to the American people” about the terrorist attack in Benghazi, Libya. Yet The Washington Post’s Fact Checker has repeatedly found “little support” for the claim that Clinton misled the American people about what happened in Benghazi.

They are both very experienced in using faulty information to prove political points. McCarthy once claimed that federal revenues were higher “than any other time,” a statement proven false by independent fact-checkers.
