Today in Cleveland, Donald Trump held a “nonpartisan” meeting at the church of Pastor Darrell Scott to speak to the African American community. Introducing Trump was none other than boxing promoter (and convicted murderer) Don King, who, after multiple times saying “Negro,” ended up saying the “N” word.
Following King, Trump tried to make his case to the African American community by bragging about his primary victories, gloating about crowd sizes, lying about crime rates and repeating his condescending appeals.
What we didn’t hear today? Apologies from Trump for pushing racist birther conspiracy theories and racial bias in his own company.
