After giving a low-energy speech this afternoon, Donald Trump was back in full force this evening. In Kenansville, Trump bragged about not paying people who work for him and spending other people’s money. The Republican nominee even claimed that the African-American community is in the worst shape it’s ever been.

Today, Donald Trump literally bragged to the people of North Carolina about being a con and a fraud. Trump’s staff can only keep him restrained for so long—and tonight The Donald let loose. In an unsettling speech, Trump more or less admitted that his entire career has been based on scamming people and that he likes spending ‘other people’s’ money.’ Even worse, Trump went on to claim that ‘African-American communities are absolutely in the worst shape that they’ve ever been in before, ever, ever, ever.’ This deeply ignorant and bigoted statement ignores more than 400 years of American history. Only in Trump’s warped world, where greed is good and deception is valued, do these statements make sense. Tonight, Trump once again showed us who he is: a con man, a bigot and a liar.
