In the past twelve hours, Trump has managed to once again insult Megyn Kelly, desecrate the memory of Captain Humayun Khan and shamelessly promote his new hotel. With thirteen days until Election Day, Trump wasted an entire morning promoting his new DC hotel and defended Newt Gingrich for saying Fox anchor Megyn Kelly is “fascinated with sex” after she asked him about Trump’s record on sexual assault. Then, he delivered a condescending speech about communities of color filled with lies, condescension and canned lines. Finally, ABC News tonight released new footage of Trump repeating the offensive claim that Captain Khan would be alive today if he had been president and lying about his opposition to the Iraq War from the beginning.
