The Donald got weird in the Sunshine State tonight. He told a local television station that he’s not worried about Zika because Governor Rick Scott “really seems to have it under control in Florida.”
He called NATO “a country club.” He said our military has “been starved for months.” And in a rare moment of clarity, he told his supporters that “I don’t know why we’re not winning by a lot. Maybe crowds don’t make the difference.”
After days of offensive comments and bad headlines, it was a surprising display of self-awareness from the GOP nominee.

REPORTER: Do you think a congressional special session, an emergency session is needed to review that bipartisan bill from several months back? TRUMP: I would say that it’s up to Rick Scott. It depends on what he’s looking to do because really seems to have it under control in Florida.”
