In today’s unhinged rally in Golden, Colorado, Trump continued his assault on our democracy. Days after he faced backlash for suggesting that we cancel the election and declare him the winner, he insinuated there was voter fraud in Colorado by questioning election officials. He also today claimed he didn’t love the “concept of ballots.” Trump said today that “we are a nation of laws,” but it’s clear that he has absolutely no regard for them.
But that wasn’t all from Trump today. He also lamented about those with power getting away with anything, just a few weeks after the world saw a 2005 tape of him bragging about getting away with sexually assaulting women, saying, “When you’re a star they let you do it. You can do anything…Grab them by the p****. You can do anything.”
Donald Trump’s attacks on our democracy are un-American and his temperament is erratic and unstable. He is simply unfit for office.
