Today Donald Trump said that he wouldn’t rule out registering Muslims in a database or giving them a form of special identification to note their religion. Historical context reveals just how atrocious these comments are, and this is from the guy who is currently the Republican Party’s undisputed front runner. Seriously, the Republican Party has become so out of touch, dated and extreme that Donald Trump is their leading candidate.
