“Donald Trump just spiraled out of control before our very eyes—acting more like a petulant, confused child than a presidential candidate (and that’s an insult to children). Trump constantly interrupted, whined about the moderators and word vomited about critical policy issues like healthcare. He even admitted—and seemed to gloat—about paying zero federal income taxes. And perhaps worst of all he doubled down on his ‘locker room’ excuse for his vile comments about women. His lack of contrition for those words and deeds is in and of itself disqualifying.
Tonight, Donald Trump just confirmed everything that has been said about him—he’s an unapologetic, no-nothing, unhinged jerk. He was angry, out of control and volatile. In contrast, Hillary Clinton delivered positive, substantive responses about her plans to be a president for all Americans while making clear that Donald Trump is utterly unfit to be president.
