The substance of last night’s Democratic debate was quite literally leagues above the debauchery that took place at the GOP debate last Thursday. Hillary Clinton once again emerged victorious, as she laid out her plan to break down barriers for those who have been left behind, and made clear distinctions between herself and Senator Sanders, which put him on the defensive and exposed some of his most troubling vulnerabilities. The media took notice. From calling him out on his “Lazio moment” to pointing out his indefensible position opposing the Ex-Im Bank, Sanders is getting hit from all sides today. And to top it all off, the NRA endorsed Sanders’ gun position, calling his abhorrent comments last night “spot-on.”
