One fact is clear from this latest debate: Bernie Sanders had a bad night. He was called out for his tone, defensive on guns, disastrous on race, and so much more. Between offensive finger wags and rude shushes, Sanders reverted to out-dated stereotypes, answered questions with his unrelated “billionaires” line, and echoed NRA talking points. Not a good night for Sanders.
