Bernie Sanders may have said he supports President Obama on the town hall stage tonight, but history proves otherwise. Not only has Bernie Sanders bragged about being the President’s “harshest critic”, he has also called Obamacare a “Republican, Romney-like program” and argued last week that President Obama hasn’t done enough to close the “presidential leadership” gap.
Those aren’t criticisms that would be coming from a Democratic candidate ready to build on President Obama’s progressive legacy.
