Last night, President Obama delivered his final State of the Union address. In it, he highlighted all the progress we have made over the past eight years:
We’ve created 14 million new jobs, experienced the strongest two years of job growth since the 1990s (the last time we had a Democrat in the White House), reformed our health care system, and secured marriage equality in all 50 states, and that’s just the beginning.
We’ve made a lot of progress, but Republicans want to reverse it all. That is what’s at stake in the 2016 election. As Hillary Clinton said, “America can’t afford…a Republican [president] who will rip away all the progress we have made.”
