The reviews are in and last night’s debate was not only substance-free, it was fact-free. The Republican contenders on stage took turns making statements that were not only bizarre – they were completely false.
Donald Trump got it wrong on illegal immigration. Ted Cruz repeatedly misled on Syria. Carly Fiorina missed the mark on national security. Chris Christie forgot to check the obituaries. Jeb Bush continued to stumble speaking on Iraq (surprised?). That’s just a few examples!
Though the Republican candidates didn’t mention jobs or the middle class, there’s one industry we know would be safe under a GOP president: Fact checkers. They’ll have nothing to worry about.
