Some of the country’s most respected news organizations again denounced the political witch hunt that is the House Select Committee on Benghazi. Calling Tuesday’s report “a dud,” the “same old story” and a “made-for-talk-radio-scandal,” no “smoking gun” or new information was revealed. Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton “emerged largely unscathed” despite Rep. Trey Gowdy’s more than $7 million attempt to damage her.
