We don’t usually agree with Trump campaign manager and uber-lobbyist Paul Manafort. But he hit the nail on the head on Sunday when he admitted that his candidate “doesn’t need to figure out what’s going on in order to say what he wants to do.”

 

Amen.

 

Trump’s presidential run has been the apotheosis of ignorance. At every turn, he’s revealed just how unprepared he is to lead our country. Trump’s admitted that he seeks advice on foreign policy from himself because he has “a good brain,” looks to “the shows” for foreign policy advice and doesn’t even know the difference between Hamas and Hezbollah. As Trump himself has said, sometimes “there’s no better word than stupid.”
