Jeb Belongs in a Time Capsule
Washington, DC – Correct The Record released the following statement in response to Jeb Bush’s remark today that he’s “not sure we need half a billion dollars for women’s health issues.”
“Jeb’s comment belittles the value of women’s health in our country,” said Adrienne Watson, communications director of Correct The Record. “His dismissal of the health of more than half our country’s population is out of touch, out of date, and extreme. It will be no better a position in 2016 than it was for Mitt Romney in 2012 – just the continuation of an attitude that women find to be condescending and offensive, that belongs in a time capsule.”
