In his first trip abroad as the presumptive Republican nominee after a historic vote by the UK to leave the European Union, Trump talks about… drainage on a golf course. Because if there’s one thing Trump can talk about “with a fluency and specificity,” it’s about his own hotels.

When he did talk about Brexit, he took a victory lap for predicting the vote after saying just two days ago that, “I don’t think anybody should listen to me because I haven’t really focused on [Brexit] very much.” He even suggested that devaluation of the British pound would help his own properties in Scotland.  Asked if he talked to his foreign advisors about the historic vote that has already affected global economic markets, Trump said there was “nothing to talk about.”

Once again, Trump’s Scotland trip proves he’d rather talk about himself and his businesses than just about anything else.
