Yesterday afternoon, Donald Trump gave an economic speech in Detroit, supposedly resetting/rebooting his campaign (for the umpteenth time) after yet another disastrous week.
While he used a teleprompter, that didn’t stop him from telling lies and saying misleading statements about our economy, Hillary Clinton, and his own plans. As The Washington Post’s Fact Checker Glenn Kessler put it, “Just because you have footnotes doesn’t mean the facts are correct.”
