Day two of the RNC: Heavy on lies, light on policy

rnc stage 3

The second day of the Republican Convention didn’t disappoint–the chaos continued. After the roll call vote declaring Trump as the official GOP nominee, energy in the room plummeted. And it did not return. Even when Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, Speaker of the House Paul Ryan spoke, they met a stale room, light applause and even some booing. Trump randomly showed up via satellite. And the night ended with many more speeches chock full of lies and absolutely nothing about the economy.
