Washington, D.C.–Today, Correct The Record released a new video highlighting members of the media admitting there are different standards for Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton. Donald Trump has been held to a lower standard than Hillary Clinton this entire election. Throughout his campaign, Trump has been “graded on a curve” because “nobody expects him to know the details of policy.” While Hillary gets grilled like a presidential candidate on minute policy points, Trump sails through interviews while advocating for unconstitutional policy proposals like “stop and frisk” with no follow-up questions and avoiding policy altogether by suggesting that “[he] alone can fix it” with no real answer as to how he would fix it.
