Washington, DC – Today, Correct The Record announced “Let’s Talk Hillary,” a major new initiative that will put the spotlight on Hillary Clinton’s personal and professional accomplishments as told by the people who know and love her and also by those who have been helped by her over her years of public service.
“There are so many families and individuals in this country with stories about how Hillary Clinton’s kind words, friendship or record of service have changed their lives for the better, and they are sick and tired of all the lies that are told about her by the far right and the media,” said David Brock, Founder of Correct The Record. “It’s time the story of the Arkansas family whose lives were changed thanks to Hillary Clinton’s commitment to childhood health is given the same kind of attention as whatever made-up scandal Trey Gowdy pushes next.”
The project was created by Allida Black, a longtime Hillary Clinton booster, co-founder of Ready for Hillary and a leader at Correct The Record. Black is a research professor of history and international affairs at George Washington University and is approaching the project with an eye toward social history.
“As a historian, I’m stunned by the scope and reach of Hillary Clinton’s accomplishments—the only way to capture them all is by sharing the stories of the people who have been helped by her work,” Black said. “These videos capture Hillary as a colleague, visionary, friend, woman of faith, mother and mentor—they’ll make you laugh and inspire you. Most importantly, they’ll leave you convinced that Hillary Clinton is the leader this country needs. It’s absolutely ambitious, but I don’t dream small, and neither does Hillary.
The Let’s Talk Hillary project will allow viewers a first-hand understanding of Hillary’s motivation for being in public life and in public service. Let’s Talk Hillary will let those who know Hillary the best share their understanding of Hillary’s impacts and motivations. People from her childhood and college years as well as those who knew her in her time in Arkansas, the White House, the Senate, and the State Department will share their favorite stories about the woman they know. Viewers will laugh at funny Hillary stories, feel what she believes, sense her love for the nation, and understand that her fierce drive comes from the people she meets and the values they share. Viewers will be introduced to Hillary as a friend, mom, mentor, colleague, activist, public servant, and woman of faith. They will see that her work changes lives and that she is resilient and never gives up.

Missy Darwin Kincaid met Hillary at Little Rock’s First United Methodist Church when Kincaid was in elementary school.
Bob Nash met Hillary in 1975, shortly after she moved to Arkansas. Throughout Hillary’s stay in Arkansas, he worked closely with the Clintons on economic development issues and education reform.
Creshelle Nash, MD, MPH met Hillary Clinton when she was in middle school. By the time she graduated from Little Rock Central High School, Hillary had become her mentor.
