Tonight, Bernie Sanders emphatically stated, “We could overthrow Assad tomorrow if we wanted to,” but went on to explain that foreign policy “is not just to know that you can overthrow a terrible dictator, it’s to understand what happens the day after.”
Funny, because in the past, he didn’t seem to have too much of an issue with regime change.
